From July 1 to July 4, 2021, the XX Anniversary Interregional Universal Wholesale and Retail Fair “Kursk Korenskaya Fair – 2021” is held at small town Svoboda of Zolotukhinsky district of Kursk region.
The main participants of these events annually are representatives of the diplomatic missions of the near and far abroad countries in the Russian Federation, international organizations, more than 30 regions of the Russian Federation.
In the main exhibition pavilion, expositions of the countries of near and far abroad, regions-partners under the concluded Agreements, educational institutions of higher education of the Kursk region, cities of the Kursk region: Kursk, Zheleznogorsk, Kurchatov were presented. An exposition demonstrating the investment potential of the region, including 28 districts of the Kursk region, an exhibition of enterprises and organizations of the regions of Russia.
A permanent participant of the fair is Kursk State Medical University, which was represented by the Rector Honored Doctor of Russia Deputy of the Kursk Regional Duma of the VI convocation Professor V.A. Lazarenko.
Led by the rector, a team of employees and students presented an exposition about the work of our university in the following areas: education, science, international activity and employment.
Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka in Kursk M.T. Chahine also presented the space where the Sri Lankan tea tasting was held.
The exhibition exposition of KSMU was visited by the Governor of the Kursk region R.V. Starovoit, Acting Governor of the Belgorod Region V.V. Gladkov, officials, guests. R.V. Starovoit noted the university role in assistance to practical medicine that is now working in the emergency mode due to the pandemic, and focused on the dynamic development of the university.
