Health Day is celebrated all over the world on April 7. This year has been declared the Year of the Medical and Social Worker by the World Health Organization in order to draw public attention to the dedicated work of doctors during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to WHO, human health is 50% determined by lifestyle, 20% by the environment, and 10% depends on the quality of the health system.
Such common symptoms as high blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and excess weight lead to cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, which, in turn, cause more than 70% of all deaths in the world. Prevention of these pathologies largely depends on the people themselves: on their physical activity, timely access to medical care, the regularity of preventive examinations and compliance with the recommendations of doctors.
