On September 3, 2021, a traditional event for new students of the pre-university stage was held at the International Medical Institute – a coordination meeting before the start of training, which was held in an online format. The director of IMI, associate professor M.T. Chahine, Deputy Director for Educational Activity of IMI, associate professor A.A. Kryukov, Deputy Head of the Educational Department L.A. Chernyakova, as well as teachers taking part in the educational process. The speakers congratulated the students on the beginning of the academic year and wished them to be “responsible, honest and hardworking”.
The main purpose of the meeting is student adaptation to a new socio-cultural environment, so young people from Malaysia and Botswana not only got acquainted with the teaching staff, but also learned a lot of interesting things about Russia, Kursk, KSMU, about Russian national traditions, holidays. The Anatomical Theater of our university, which was given special attention in the presentation, was of particular interest.
During the event, the “recruits” received comprehensive information on all issues of training at IMI, took the first step towards knowledge and are ready to start their studies. Welcome to KSMU!
