✅ A familiarization tour of the university was conducted for the students of IMI KSMU, who have recently arrived from Malaysia to Kursk. Starting to study in another country, it is very important to know information about the university, its structure, traditions.
✅ The teachers of IMI KSMU O.S. Strelkova and A.M. Shumakova showed where the library, reading room, cafe, canteen, university administration, leading departments, gym, dental clinic, research institute of experimental medicine are located.
✅ The excursion continued in the courtyard of the university, where there is a monument to the “father of medicine” Hippocrates, a monument to “Physician’s Service”, a sculptural composition in honor of St. Luke, a bronze “Credit Book”, a student square, “Reconciliation Bench”, a monument to the erythrocyte, a street “Chessboard” and other memorable signs. The students completing pre-university training also participated in the tour. They shared with the newcomers their impressions about studying in MMI KSMU and life in Kursk, gave practical advice.
✅ The excursion ended near the building of the Anatomical Theater, which includes more than five hundred various anatomical preparations, as well as paintings, lithographs, stained glass windows of the corresponding subjects.
✅ The students thanked from the bottom of their hearts the teachers of the University for the interesting excursion and admitted that they considered it a great luck that they were lucky to study in KSMU.
