On 01.02.23, employees of the Research Institute of Experimental Medicine and residents of the Department of Oncology were invited to the Research Institute of Carcinogenesis of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “N.N. Blokhin Research Medical Research Center of Oncology” of the Ministry of Health of Russia to undergo an internship at the workplace on the basis of the laboratory of carcinogenic substances of the Department of Chemical Carcinogenesis and master the technique of modeling transplantable tumors and the technique of modeling tumor metastasis in vivo.
During the visit, a meeting was held with leading employees and director of the Research Institute of Carcinogenesis Professor Krasilnikov Mikhail Alexandrovich, during which issues of further scientific and practical cooperation in connection with the implementation of research work in the field of fundamental carcinogenesis, pharmacology and experimental oncology within the framework of the agreement “On Scientific and Practical Cooperation” between KSMU and the FSBI “NMRC of Oncology named after “N. N. Blokhin Cancer Research Center” of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, Moscow.
The development of these methods will expand the range of research on the basis of NIIEM laboratories and the possibilities of conducting scientific research within the framework of the planned research by employees studying at KSMU, optimizing the use of scientific equipment and introducing new methods for assessing the pharmacological activity of drugs, biologically active substances, medical products in preclinical trials.
