In connection with the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia and the 115th anniversary of the trade union movement of Russia Viktor Lazarenko, the rector of KSMU, professor, member of the committee and the presidium of Kursk regional organization of the trade union of healthcare workers of the Russian Federation, was awarded the jubilee medal “30 years of FITUR” for successful cooperation of trade union organizations.

The awarding ceremony took place in the assembly hall of the pharmaceutical building within the framework of the conference of students and employees of KSMU. The jubilee medal was presented to the rector by the chairman of the Kursk Regional Organization of the Trade Union of Healthcare Workers of the Russian Federation, Svetlana Okhotnikova.

The jubilee medal “30 years of FITUR” was awarded to members of trade unions, heads of enterprises and organizations, public and statesmen of Russia, as well as trade union leaders of foreign countries. The medal is established by the FITUR Executive Committee to award trade union workers and activists, veterans of the trade union movement for many years and fruitful work in trade unions on protection of labor rights and socio-economic interests of workers and other persons who have made a great contribution to the development of the Federation of Independent Trade Unions of Russia, and in connection with the 30th anniversary of the FITUR formation.
