🏥 The university clinic has started operating at the Kursk State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
The opening is timed to coincide with the 89th anniversary of the founding of the Kursk Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Murashko, sent congratulations to the university staff.
– The opening of the new university clinic will not only significantly improve the quality of practical training for students and interns, but also improve the quality and accessibility of medical care in the region, – the minister noted.
The university clinic has already started accepting patients. During one shift, up to five hundred patients can receive assistance at the university clinic.
The university clinic includes the following departments:
🟡 Medical-diagnostic and surgical departments;
🟡 X-ray department;
🟡 Pediatric and adult dentistry;
🟡 Day hospital;
🟡 Rehabilitation and recovery department, and others.
▶️The specialized departments of the clinic plan to treat up to 30,000 patients not only from the Kursk region, but also from other regions of the country.
▶️In addition to the equipped medical offices, the clinic has 16 classrooms. By analyzing complex clinical cases and observing the work of doctors, students can also gain the necessary experience.
▶️Modern equipment allows for high-precision research, which will serve as the basis for new scientific work.
In addition, a university library has opened, which already has over 15,000 volumes of printed publications on medicine, history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and economics.
