On May 28, a meeting of classmates – the 50th graduate of the medical faculty of 1992 took place at KSMU.
There assembled 115 people. There were also many of those who wanted to meet their classmates, but, unfortunately, not everyone was able to come to Kursk that day. At the entrance to the university we were met by our wonderful dean, Professor V.V. Kharchenko. Those, who entered the first year in 1986, became his first wards.
The solemn part was held in auditorium No. 2, the audience was greeted by Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, MD, Professor, Rector of KSMU V.A. Lazarenko, who told about life of the university today. Those present were pleased to learn that their native university ranks first in the ratings of prestigious Russian and foreign medical universities, that over its 87-year history KSMU has received worldwide recognition and fame and is a forge of personnel for Russia and for many foreign countries.
In the response speech of the graduates, many warm words of gratitude were expressed to the teachers for the high level of knowledge they provided. Some came to a meeting with their children who have already graduated from our university or just want to become students of KSMU.
Graduates of the medical faculty in 1992 became highly qualified doctors, working in many parts of the former Soviet Union, as well as in foreign countries. There are many well-known doctors, professors, scientists, and health care organizers among them. Sechenova, Svetlana Nemtseva – Ph.D., Chief Physician of the St. Luke of Crimea Starooskolskaya District Hospital, Alexander Bondarev – MD, Deputy Chief Physician for Diagnostics of the same hospital, Irina Pashina – PhD, Associate Professor of Public Health and Public Health INO KSMU, Elena Angaleva – PhD, Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology INO KSMU, Lyudmila Kutepova – chief physician of the regional Starooskolsky skin and venereological dispensary, Viktor Turulo – director of the territorial FСMIF of the Bryansk region, deputy of the Bryansk Regional Duma of the 6th and 7th convocations, Larisa Trutaeva – the chief doctor of the Kursk regional specialized Children’s Home and others.

The graduates visited the anatomical theater, took a tour of the university, walked through the corridors of the alma mater.
The meeting was very eventful and emotional, memories of studying at the institute, online communication with friends who could not come, favorite songs, photos of student years brought everyone back to the student days. The graduates also remembered those who left us forever…
Every meeting with classmates, with ageless teachers, with the native institute leaves indelible impressions in the memory and brings something amazing, interesting and unforgettable into our lives.
