From April 15 to 19, 2024, KSMU hosted the annual large-scale career event of the University “KSMU Job Fair – 2024” organized by the Career Center.

Due to the consistently high level of training of KSMU graduates and the University’s long-standing partnerships with employers in the field of employment assistance, the “KSMU Job Fair” has grown in scale from a one-day event to a career marathon where employers present jobs during the week.

Annually more than 50% of KSMU graduates are employed in the base region – Kursk region, therefore this year speakers from 16 medical organizations of Solovyinsky region took part in the Fair. In addition, during the week representatives of 11 other regions of Russia spoke to the students. These are employers from Moscow, Belgorod, Orel, Murmansk, Kaliningrad, Voronezh, Rostov regions, Sevastopol, Krasnodar Krai, the Republic of Crimea and the Republic of Tatarstan. All in all 42 HR partners of the University, who presented more than 400 vacancies, appeared on the air of “KSMU Job Fair – 2024”.

On April 17, 2024 a meeting of representatives of state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the sphere of health care with residents and students studying under target training agreements and planning to conclude target agreements was held.

Representatives of public authorities in the field of health care of Kursk, Belgorod, Bryansk, Orel and Lipetsk regions spoke to the students, told about the advantages and obligations of the target contract.

Irina Vladimirovna Zelenova Zelenova, Legal Advisor of the Legal Department of KSMU, told about legal responsibility for non-fulfillment of obligations by the parties provided by the contract on target training, about significant changes and additions in a number of normative legal acts on the issue of target training.

Within the framework of “KSMU Job Fair – 2024” the career guidance excursion to the employer from Kursk region was organized. 27 students of the University visited Oboyanskaya CRB, where they visited hospital departments, medical assistant and midwife station, physical culture and health complex, got acquainted with specialists of the institution, talked to the chief physician of the hospital and the head of Oboyansky district, learned about vacancies, working conditions and social support measures for young specialists.

The Fair ended with a training webinar conducted by the representative of the permanent partner of KSMU – “SuperJob” company (Moscow) Olga Vyacheslavovna Zenina. The trainees learned how to competently make a resume and pass an interview.

“KSMU Job Fair – 2024” united students of different faculties of KSMU, training directions of Medical and Pharmaceutical College of KSMU and residency, allowed to learn more about career opportunities in different regions of our country, to communicate with the representative of “SuperJob” company.
