Creative gruops of the International Medical Institute of KSMU from Sri Lanka, India, Thailand and Nigeria – winners and prize–winners of international competitions and festivals – performed on the stage.
The festive program was opened by foreign students with performances “Weelcome dance” and “Cossack dance” from the Russian students group of KSMU “Yablonka”. Rector of KSMU, Professor V.A. Lazarenko and honorary foreign guests congratulated the university with many good wishes.
The past memories about university and about the first students, who were participants of the Great Patriotic War, became a really touching moment. Unique pictures of the liberation of Kursk from fascists were shown.
Foreign students proudly performed the KSMU Anthem in Russian at the end of the event, because KSMU has become their “Alma Mater” and Kursk became their truly beloved city.
