After passing the first and second stages of the accreditation procedure for the “General Medicine” program, the Commission of the Medical Council of Sri Lanka invited the administration of KSMU, headed by the rector V.A. Lazarenko to take part in the discussion of topical issues of the educational program “General Medicine” recognition. The issues of stay and socio-cultural adaptation of Sri Lankan students in the student environment were also considered. Currently, 257 Sri Lankan citizens are studying at Kursk State Medical University. About 700 citizens of Sri Lanka, who successfully work in medical institutions of foreign countries, and also take an active part in the work of public organizations, completed their training here. The members of the certification commission of Sri Lanka highly appreciated the level of organization of the educational process and work with students at KSMU.
