On 02.04.2022, the creative teams of Sri Lanka and India of the International Medical Institute of KSMU performed their traditional bright and colorful numbers at the festival “Student Spring of the Nightingale Land 2022”. Performing skill, staginess, artistry, disclosure of the artistic image – in accordance with such criteria the performances of the participants were evaluated. The large number of performing teams was not the only advantage of the competition. All present: heads, jury and performers, were pleased with the quality of performance, unexpected and interesting stagings.

Every year, IMI students present amazing choreography in different directions: from street sports dances to colorful traditional folk dances. This time two scenic numbers of Indian students (choreographer: Patel Hinal Anilbhai) and three numbers of Sri Lankan students (choreographers: Walisundara Mudiyanselage Hansinu Chathurika, Mahawithanage Dona Isurika Lakmali Mahawithana and De Silva Tennakoon George Pathni Madushli) were presented. The performances turned out to be creative and memorable, colorful and bright costumes pleased with their originality. The number of participants from IMI KSMU was more than 50 people.

Foreign students managed to demonstrate the identity of the culture of their people, share unique emotions with the audience and, of course, win prizes.

Everyone got an incredible boost of energy, admiration and pride for their achievements!
