Students and teachers of Kursk Medical University took part in a meeting with Russian political scientist, international expert, president of the Foundation for the Development of Civil Society Institutions “People’s Diplomacy”, coordinator of the public movement “Russian Union”, author of a number of books and monographs on history – Alexey Vladimirovich Kochetkov, which took place in the Regional Youth Palace.
The participants were the representatives of the Kursk Regional Duma, political parties, teachers and university students.
The topic of the dialogue is “The external foreign policy of the Russian Federation and a special military operation on the territory of Ukraine”.
“It is very important to talk about what is happening, because it concerns all of us. Such concepts as “fascism” and “nationalism” were not born in Russia. From the point of view of historical facts, the Russian people rarely entered into open confrontations and even less often was the instigator of political conflicts,” Alexey Kochetkov noted.
The meeting was held in the format of a discussion with young people on topical subjects and aroused keen interest in issues of history and modernity. Students were able to ask their questions. At the end of the meeting, Alexey Vladimirovich thanked the Kuryans for interesting and informative questions.
