Nowadays, mental health care is becoming more accessible and personalized. The development of science and technological progress contribute to the rapid development of psychiatry. The requirements for the mental health of the Russian population are constantly increasing, therefore the mental health service is called upon not only to provide effective treatment and rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders, but also to actively address the issues of prevention, preservation and strengthening of the mental health of the nation as a whole”.

The Congress of Russian Psychiatrists is held every four years. Participation in such a large-scale forum allowed the staff of KSMU to exchange the results of their scientific research with colleagues, get acquainted with the latest publications in the field of psychiatry and medical psychology, and most importantly – to form an idea of the nearest prospects for the development of this field of medicine.
