On June 25, 2021, a solemn meeting was held at Kursk State Medical University dedicated to the 51st graduation of pharmacists in the specialty “Pharmacy”, the 7th graduation of bachelors in the field of “Biotechnology”, the 4th graduation of bachelors in the field of “Chemical Technology”.

Diplomas of higher education in the field of priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy were awarded to 48 graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy (including 9-with honors), and 38 graduates of the Faculty of Biotechnology in the areas of “Biotechnology” (26 graduates) and “Chemical Technology” (12 graduates) (including 6 – with honors).

Among our graduates:

– Grant-holders of the President of the Russian Federation (in specialties or areas of training corresponding to priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy) – Olga Skripkina, Anastasia Ryzhkina, Victoria Bikashova;

– Grant-holders of the Government of the Russian Federation (in specialties or areas of training corresponding to priority areas of modernization and technological development of the Russian economy) – Yulia Leontieva, Alexandra Medyanik, Alina Yudakova, Alyona Yelnikova, Veronika Olievskaya.

The rector of KSMU, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Professor V. A. Lazarenko addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech, who emphasized the historical traditions of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological faculties, the importance and prestige of the profession, the demand for pharmacists and biotechnologists, especially during the fight against the pandemic, and wished them success in their professional activities. The graduates were congratulated by the dean of the Faculty, Professor of the Department of Pharmacognosy and Botany I. L. Drozdova.

The best graduates who showed excellent knowledge, success in student science, made a great contribution to the formation of the image of KSMU, actively engaged in sports sections, numerous creative teams and represented our university at competitions, festivals, Olympiads and competitions of various levels, were awarded Diplomas and Certificates of Honor from the rector’s office, SNO, sports club, Center for Creative Development and Additional Education.

There were reciprocal words of gratitude from the graduates. The graduates thanked the administration of KSMU in the person of the rector, Professor V. A. Lazarenko, all the teachers and staff of the faculties for the knowledge they received, for the comfortable learning conditions, the opportunity to engage not only in studies, but also in student science, sports, creativity, and social activities. Graduates presented paintings to their Alma mater as a souvenir. At the end of the meeting, the unusually solemn and beautiful Hymn of KSMU was played.

The rector’s office, the dean’s office and the staff of the pharmaceutical and biotechnological faculties congratulate the graduates on graduating from the university and wish them professional success!
