Many foreigners, studying at the International Medical Institute, have never been to Russia and do not know what the Russian winter is, that is why they dream about snow, wish to hold a snowflake on their palms. Due to online training they do not have such an opportunity, but the solution was found – a creative work contest “Snezhinka-competition”. The IMI teachers not only presented a master-class in making paper snowflakes, but also introduced poems of A.S. Pushkin, S.A. Esenin, N.A. Nekrasov, F.I. Tyutchev and I.Z. Surikov dedicated to the Russian winter. The main aim of the event was to cultivate student interest in Russian culture and language, develop creativity and aesthetic sensitivity. The winners were awarded diplomas for the best creative works.
