Every year, foreign students of Kursk State Medical University represent their creative dance groups at interregional and city festivals and competitions.

This fall, students from India and Sri Lanka became participants of the XIV International Folklore Festival “Samotsvety”, organized by the Administration of the city of Kursk. The festival was held as part of the events dedicated to the 990th anniversary of our city.

Student groups of India and Sri Lanka became a real decoration of the international folklore festival, having demonstrated the beauty and originality of their cultures.

Students of KSMU constantly develop choreographic art, preserve folk traditions and customs, affirm the ideas of peace, goodness and harmony among young people and, of course, at the festival, they found many new friends from the Donetsk People’s Republic, Kursk , Belgorod, Zheleznogorsk and other cities of Russia.
