On August 25, 2023, the large family of the IMI KSMU welcomed their first Newcomers International students at a huge table in KSMU cafeteria, over a cup of aromatic tea with pancakes and fritters.
During the event, the students were introduced to the staff of the IMI KSMU.
After that, each new student shared a story about themselves, their hobbies, and their favorite interesting activities.
The students were shown video clips about the most interesting attractions in Russia, Kursk city, and KSMU videos. They were then addressed about the necessary registration rules for living in Russia. They also watched a video about the evacuation rules from the dormitory.
At the “Russian Tea Party,” students were introduced to Russian traditions and the broadness of the Russian soul, our warmth and hospitality. The meeting took place in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The tea party was part of the adaptation program for India, Malaysia, and Bangladesh students.
