On March3-4, 2023, Kursk State Medical University hosted the I Spartakiad of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of Russia of the Central Federal District “Physical Culture and Sports – the Second Profession of a Doctor” in badminton.
Teams of RNIMU named after N.I. Pirogov (Moscow), Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician i.p. Pavlov (Ryazan) VSMU named after N.N. Burdenko (Voronezh) fought for entry to the Final of the I Spartakiad of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of Russia of the Central Federal District “Physical Culture and Sports – the Second Profession of a Doctor” in badminton, which will also be held at the Kursk State Medical University at the end of April 2023. Fight on courts appeared so intense and exciting that the winner and prize-winners were defined only in the last games.
Gold was won by the team of Ryazan State Medical University named after Academician i.p. Pavlov, and bronze medals go to VSMU named after N.N. Burdenko.
In the final protocol at the Final Badminton Competitions of the 1st Spartakiad of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities of Russia “Physical Culture and Sports – the Second Profession of a Doctor”, the Central Federal District will be represented by the team of the Kursk State Medical University (as the host of the Final Competitions) and the team of the First Moscow State Medical University named after I. M. Sechenov.
