On December 16, 2020 on the eve of New Year, the Rector’s New Year celebration “Kindness without Borders” was held on the initiative of foreign students of International Medical Institute of KSMU.
Every year foreign students visit specialized orphanages and compliment children on New Year and Christmas holidays.
This year foreign students showed interest in holding charity events for the pupils of the Regional Government Agency “Cheremisinovsky Center for Minors” and the Regional Government General Education Institution “Oktyabrskaya Boarding School of Kastorensky district in Kursk region”.
Students from Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Nigeria and Brazil congratulated kids and presented them office equipment for general use and a sweet present for each child!
The Rector of KSMU, honored physician of the Russian Federation, deputy of Kursk Regional Duma, honored citizen of Kursk professor V.A. Lazarenko, head of Cheremisinovsky district M.N. Ignatov, head of Kastorensky district A.A. Belokopytov, director of the International Medical Institute, honorary consul of Sri Lanka M.T. Chahine, the rector’s assistant O.V. Azarenko, deputy director for general affairs of the International Medical Institute T.F. Dremina and representatives of the “United Russia” fraction took part in the festive events.
Foreign students together with the drama studio of Medical-pharmaceutical college of KSMU organized a small fabulous open-air concert as a New Year gift and wished everyone good health and fulfillment of all desires in New Year 2021!
