On February 18, 2022, a meeting of the Board of the Kursk Regional Public Organization “Scientific and Practical Society of Surgeons” was held within the walls of Kursk State Medical University. The main issue on the agenda of the meeting of the Board is the election of the chairman of the Kursk regional public organization “Scientific and Practical Society of Surgeons”.
The members of the organization are the heads of the departments of the surgical profile of medical organizations in Kursk and the Kursk region, the heads of the departments of the surgical profile of the Kursk State Medical University, leading specialists in the field of surgery, oncology, pediatric surgery, as well as doctors of related specialties.
The main goal and objectives of the Scientific and Practical Society of Surgeons is to assist in the joint achievement by the region of the targets of the National Projects “Health” and “Demography” on the development of medical science, public health, training of highly qualified personnel, etc.
According to the results of the voting, the rector of the Kursk State Medical University, Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko, was unanimously elected chairman of the Kursk regional public organization “Scientific and Practical Society of Surgeons”.
