From May 24 till May 30, 2021 the advance voting took place all over the country for the subsequent candidate nomination from the United Russia Party for elections at different authority levels. Viktor Anatolyevich participated in it for 11th single-member constituency as a candidate for election to Kursk Regional Duma of 7th convocation. Citizens of Kastorensky, Sovetsky and Cheremisinovsky districts supported V.A. Lazarenko by an absolute majority vote.
