On November 22, 2022, the fifth professorial forum “Science and Education in the Face of Global Challenges” of the Russian Professorial Assembly began its work.
The plenary session was opened and attended by Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation Government D.N. Chernyshenko, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation V.N. Falkov, Minister of Education of the Russian Federation S.S. Kravtsov, President of the Russian Academy of Education O.Yu. Vasilieva, Vice-President of the Russian Academy of Sciences S.M. Aldoshin, Chairman of the Higher Attestation Commission of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation V.M. Filippov, chairmen of the relevant committees of the Federation Council and State Duma, heads of scientific communities and leading universities of Russia.
The award ceremony for the winners of the national award of the Russian Professorial Assembly “Professor of the Year” was held at the forum.
Head of the Department of Pathophysiology of KSMU, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Igor Ivanovich Bobyntsev was awarded the title of laureate of the Central Federal District Prize in “Medical Sciences” category. The laureates were awarded commemorative medals and personal diplomas of the Russian Professorial Assembly.
Currently, the Russian Professorial Assembly brings together more than 8,000 professors and 82 regional departments, being the leading national center in the development and expert evaluation of solutions to improve the effectiveness of state policy in the field of education and science. At the forum, representatives of various branches of government stressed the high demand for the potential of the professorial community in the context of the crisis and global challenges, as well as the need to quickly create all the necessary conditions for its practical implementation.
