Professor V.A. Lazarenko, Rector of KSMU, and M.T. Chahine, Director of IMI KSMU, participated in a significant event aimed at strengthening educational co-operation at the annual meeting of the Association of Indian-Russian Universities.
The gathering, whose venue changes between India and Russia, was held in New Delhi and emphasised the commitment of both countries to deepen academic and cultural exchange.

The event brought together representatives from over 60 leading universities in Russia. The main agenda was to discuss and strengthen cooperation in research and student exchange programmes, which are seen as key areas for mutual development in higher education.

Also at the meeting representatives from India spoke. The Institute of Public Health presented its COHERD programme.

The meeting of the Association of Indian-Russian Universities not only strengthens academic ties between the two countries, but also lays a solid foundation for future co-operation that can adapt to the educational requirements of the 21st century.
