Today, Kursk State Medical University held an “Open Conversation with the Governor Roman Starovoit”, which was attended by more than 500 students.

The prospects for the development of the region, political and economic processes taking place in the country and in the world were discussed. Future doctors asked questions about the development of regional healthcare, demand for medical personnel, medicinal support and the acquisition of high-tech medical equipment. Foreign students also participated in the dialogue. They were interested in the possibility of obtaining “MIR” bank cards.

“It is important for me to discuss honestly and frankly various topics with young people in the format of a dialogue – to argue, evaluate ideas and necessarily answer all, including acute and inconvenient questions, – the governor emphasized. – I am sure that my personal experience as the head of the region will be useful for young people and help them to understand the great flow of information, distinguish truth from fiction on the basis of history lessons and taking into account modern trends”.

The head of the region noted that now there is a time of radical changes in the economy and politics, but at the same time it is a unique opportunity to implement the ideas of personal and professional growth, get new knowledge and competencies, open one’s own business.

Roman Starovoit wished students not to miss their chance, move forward only and carry out their most bold projects.
