On April 30, Vladimir Vladimirovich Khvostovoy, Head of Oncology Department, was accepted by the Rector of Bukhara State Medical University Professor Teshayev Shukhrat Jumaevich, who conveyed warm words of gratitude to the Rector of KSMU Professor V.A.Lazarenko.  Then Vladimir Vladimirovich visited the Department of Oncology, where with the head of the department Dr. Mamedov Umid Sunnatovich held a joint departmental meeting where they discussed the peculiarities of teaching oncology to students of different faculties and clinical residents.  Vladimir Vladimirovich presented reports about KSMU, as well as the role of the Department of Oncology in the development of oncological service of Kursk region, which aroused interest in Bukhara colleagues, also familiarized with the nuances of departmental documentation. Umid Sunnatovich conducted a tour of the Bukhara Oncology Center, after which Vladimir Vladimirovich joined his colleagues at the conference and took part in the moderation of the section “Live Surgery”.  Agreements were reached on joint projects in science, including student science, joint Olympiads, and opportunities for specialization at workplaces.
