Students of Kursk State Medical University from 50 countries visited Gubernsky Skating-rink (“Seim” television news report in Russian)

Holding entertainment events for students during New Year holidays has already become a  heart-warming tradition at KSMU. The beginning of 2021 was no exception, but due to existing epidemiological situation it was resolved to spend time outdoors.

On January 05, 2021 rector of Kursk State Medical University  professor Viktor Anatolievich Lazarenko presented students taking an active part in voluntary work, as well as the active core of foreign student communities with a true winter fairy tale.

As part of the event, students of KSMU were invited to Gubernsky Skating-rink, located at Teatralnaya Square.

New Year tree decorated with mile-long string lights and 4000 open-work and gleamy Christmas baubles, fair houses, LED decorations and artist built photo zones helped to create holiday atmosphere, brought  fun and joy.

At the beginning of the event vice-rector for educational activity, social development and public relations, associate professor A.A. Kuznetsova and director of the International Medical Institute of KSMU, associate professor M.T. Chahine congratulated everyone on New Year 2021, wishing health, success and fulfilment of cherished dreams.
