A physical meeting of the scientific and practical society of surgeons was held on the basis of the Regional Budgetary Healthcare Institution “Kursk Regional Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital”. This time it was headed by the rector of Kursk State Medical University, Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Medical Science, Professor Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko.
Surgeons of the region determined the further directions of the society work and its goal – maximum practical, legal and scientific assistance to a practicing surgeon. This will ultimately lead to an improvement in the level and quality of care.
Honorary members of the Regional Society of Surgeons were elected. They included skilled specialists who have made a significant contribution to the development of surgery in the Kursk region: Nazarenko Pyotr Mikhailovich, Golikov Vitaly Tarasovich, Ivanov Sergey Viktorovich, Sukovatykh Boris Semenovich, Stoyko Yuri Mikhailovich, Gostishchev Viktor Kuzmich.
The meeting was devoted to the work of the remote consulting center on the basis of the Regional Budgetary Healthcare Institution “KRMCH”, a three-level system of medical care, the processes of concentration of information about serious patients from all corners of the region and ways of their further transportation. Patient routing is implemented in order to provide timely and specialized treatment. Irina Sergeevna Kokina, the head of the department, told about this in detail.
The work of the scientific and practical society is a guarantee of the unity of surgeons of the Kursk region, an area where it is possible to share and adopt invaluable experience, and receive not only comprehensive information on the treatment of patients, but also the practical help of colleagues.
