Within the framework of legal education and instructions for foreign citizens, Kursk State Medical University held an educational meeting of foreign first-year students and law enforcement officers of the Kursk region on the main areas of crime prevention.

The meeting was attended by:

  1. Lead Investigator of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk Region Matyukhina Natalia Nikolaevna;
  2. Lead investigator of the Department of Internal Affairs of the Drug Control Service Administration of the Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk Region Lobova Olga Aleksandrovna;
  3. Head of the department for organizing migration registration and issuing visas and invitations of the department of permits and visa work of the Directorate for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk Region Maria Aleksandrovna Martianova;
  4. Deputy Head of Public Order Protection Department of the Administration of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Kursk Region Davidov Dmitry Yurievich;
  5. Deputy Director of the International Medical Institute for General Affairs  Dremina Tatiana Fedorovna.

The event was attended by more than 270 students from India, Malaysia, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Uzbekistan, Syria and Lebanon. Foreign students were informed about the main offences in the fields of drug trafficking, migration law, cases of extremist manifestations, inadmissibility of participation in unauthorized rallies, as well as the types of liability for commission of illegal actions. Students were shown videos about offenses in the territory of the Kursk region and opportunities to play sports, dancing and singing at the university. Freshmen received strong recommendations on compliance with the legislation of the Russian Federation.
