In the period from March 11 to March 15, 2024 in the Ryazan State Medical University took place the III stage of the IX Festival of Sports “Physical Education and Sport – the second profession of a doctor” among the students of medical and pharmaceutical universities of Russia CFA on volleyball.
Kursk State Medical University was represented at the tournament by women’s and men’s teams.
During 4 days students from N.N. Burdenko VSMU, I.M. Sechenov PMSMU, N.I. Pirogov RNIMU, RyazSMU, SSMU, TGMU, YSMU fought for the final of the Festival.
Our men’s team throughout all games demonstrated high class and will to win, but, unfortunately, they failed to take the prize-winning place.
Women’s volleyball team of KSMU, having defeated its rivals, reached the final, where it lost to the team of RyazSMU. As a result our sportswomen took the 2nd place, having secured their participation in the IX Festival of Sports in Krasnoyarsk.
