On June 1, 2022, at the premises of NRTU MISIS, a meeting of heads of career centers of higher education institutions of the Central Federal District was held, which was attended by more than 170 representatives of universities of the Russian Federation. KSMU was represented by the head of the graduate employment center Olesya Sergeevna Kolchina.
The questions of creating conditions for the realization of the professional, labor and entrepreneurial potential of young specialists were discussed at the meeting.
The main speakers of the event were the head of the Expert Center for Career and Realization of Professional Opportunities for Young People at the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia Daria Aleksandrovna Kozyreva and the General Director of “Faculty” Sergey Alexandrovich Vishipanov.
“Within the university, it is the career centers that are inherently one step away from every significant process and can flexibly transform, acting as a driver of the university’s development,” said Sergey Vishipanov, General Director of the Faculty.
On behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, a long-term youth employment assistance Program was approved for the period up to 2030, paragraph 21 of which states the need to improve the activities of career centers of higher education organizations and professional educational organizations and includes establishing the procedure for the activities of career centers of higher education organizations and professional educational organizations and a system of performance indicators of their activities.
In order to realize this item, the Expert Career Center and the Realization of Professional Opportunities for Young People under the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia has started its work. One of his focus areas was the implementation of a program of updating and accelerating the work of career centers in universities across the country. The primary task of the program is to change the teams consciousness, to understand the essence of the Centers and the contours of their work. Career centers, according to the organizers of the program, have a strategic position in the transformation of universities.
Today, 106 universities of the Far Eastern, Volga, Central and Siberian Federal Districts have entered the transformational program. The staff of the Graduate Employment Center of Kursk State Medical University will be trained in the fall of 2022.
