The Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (Moscow) hosted the VIIIth Russian and CIS Obstetrics and Gynecology Olympiad named after L.S. Persianinov. L.S. Persianinov.
The Olympiad consisted of two stages: theoretical and practical. Our students were invited to the finals as they successfully passed the first stage among 45 teams.
The second stage took place on March 25-26, 2024. Students took part in the following competitions: “Laparoscopy” (Beshodarny K.S., Markina T.V.), “Hysteroresectoscopy” (Tyunkin D.V., Markina T.V.), “Introduction of emergency delivery on a robotic mannequin” (Alfimova K.A., Kubareva S.Y.), “Sutures at caesarean section” (Petrova A.S., Alfimova K.A., Kubareva S.Y.).
The team is grateful to the heads of the departments: Obstetrics and Gynecology Ivanova Oksana Yurievna, Obstetrics and Gynecology INO Lazareva Galina Anatolievna, as well as – the director of the Federal Accreditation Center Dolgina Irina Ivanovna, assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology INO Ponomaryova Lyubov Alexandrovna.
