On April 17, 2022, an interregional wrestling tournament was held in Kursk at the “Labor Reserves” stadium. The general management of the organization and conduct of competitions was carried out by the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kursk region, the AU KO “Management for the organization and conduct of sports events”, the regional sports public organization “Wrestling Federation of the Kursk Region”.
KSMU students represented the University in pankration and freestyle wrestling, where they became winners:
1st place pankration – Ilya Maslennikov, 4th year student of the Faculty of Dentistry;
1st place freestyle wrestling – Abrek Berdiev, 2nd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine and Mukhamed Saipudinov, 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine.
