On May 30, 2021 Kursk hosted the all-Russian half marathon “Zabeg. RF”, which was held in Russia for the fifth time. In our region, 1,300 people took part in the race. ZaBeg is more than just a half marathon – 84 cities, 11 time zones and one start for everyone. The half marathon took place along the central streets of Kursk. Athletes covered distances of 1 km, 1, 5 and 10 kilometers, as well as 21.1 kilometers.
The Governor of the Kursk Region Roman Starovoit took part in ZaBeg for the half marathon distance. The head of the region greeted the audience and wished them a sporty mood.
Track and field athletes of Kursk State Medical University with the coach Voronina V.T. take part in the half marathon for the second year. This year, 1st year student of the medical faculty Polina Bukanova, who became the first in her age category and third in the overall standings, accepts congratulations on her victory!!!
