One of the display classes of Kursk State Medical University gathered students of respectable age – representatives of the University of the Elderly. Computer literacy classes started at KSMU within the Kursk Longevity project.

– The task of the project is not only to train representatives of the older generation to work on the computer, but also to give people the opportunity to get acquainted, communicate, namely, not to feel alone, – said Alesya Kuznetsova, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations. – We also have a good tradition of inviting our students to university events: exhibitions, concerts, performances, which are prepared by the teams of the Center for Creative Development and Additional Education of KSMU.

Alesya Anatolyevna also paid attention to the fact that Olga Mikhailovna Gridneva, a teacher of computer literacy, is a great professional and a wonderful, heartfelt person.

– We study about three months twice a week, – Olga Mikhaylovna explained. – We gradually comprehend everything: from searching for the right materials on the Internet to creating presentations and participating in computer literacy competitions.

It should be noted that KSMU plans to open a similar course on the ability to handle a smartphone under the Kursk Longevity project. And there are already quite a few applications for it!
