On May 11, 2021 Kursk State Medical University became the first university in the Russian Federation to sign a cooperation agreement with Chung Shan Medical University located in Taichung (Taiwan).

As part of this agreement, rector of KSMU prof. V.A. Lazarenko and President of Chung Shan Medical University prof. Chien-Ning Huang expressed their readiness to implement joint educational programs, introduce new medical, dental and pharmaceutical technologies, exchange specialists and teachers in order to familiarize themselves with the peculiarities of the educational process, research and creative activity.

For further integration into the international educational space, the parties plan to organize and conduct methodological congresses, conferences, seminars for scientific personnel and practicing doctors, mutual exchange of information and publication of scientific and methodological technologies in their journals, the implementation of academic mobility of students and academic teaching staff.
