According to the rating agency of WSJ (online magazine of business and politics), Kursk state medical university entered the TOP-100 of the best Russian higher educational establishments of 2020 and took:
- 13th spot among medical universities of Russia;
- 82nd spot in the general ranking of Russian higher educational establishments.
