The National Aggregate Ranking (NAR) of Russian universities combines the results of 12 ratings that meet the requirements of publicity (full information is provided in the public domain), stability (there are at least three years), mass (estimated by at least 100 universities) and periodicity (assessed annually).

The rating came out for the sixth time, becoming a de facto unified scale of assessment of universities. It allowed universities to compare their achievements with other educational institutions at the institutional level. This encourages competition among universities and encourages them to strive to improve their educational and scientific supply.

Kursk State Medical University has a stable place in the Top 200, it is the second league, representing universities with high and stable indicators in the ratings.

Among the universities of the Kursk region KSMU took the first place, and among the medical universities of Russia the 19th place.

In total, the NAR – 2024 included 686 Russian universities, including 46 medical and 8 universities of Kursk.
