The World Hepatitis Day observed on July 28 is intended to raise awareness about viral hepatitis – an inflammatory liver disease.
✅There are five main types of viral hepatitis – A, B, C, D and E.
✅Unfortunately, the disease does not always immediately manifest with clinical symptoms. Sometimes the illness can progress for a long time without any visible signs.
✅The earlier the diagnosis is made, the more effective the treatment. At the university clinic, you can undergo comprehensive diagnostics: biochemical tests reflecting the structural and functional state of liver cells, abdominal ultrasound, and liver elastometry.
