Students of the International Medical Institute of KSMU visited the exhibition “Our city in different times”, presented by the gallery “AYA” in the Exhibition Hall. The exhibition was dedicated to the work of local artists, and the students from Malaysia had an opportunity to immerse themselves into the world of art and culture of Russia.
Students were not only amazed by the colorful works of artists, but also learned many interesting facts from the history of the city of Kursk. For example, they heard about the history of the Kursk Korensk icon “The Sign” of the Mother of God, which is a shrine of our region.
Many historical documents and photos were presented at the exhibition, which aroused genuine interest of international students. For IMI students, this was their first visit to an art gallery in Kursk. They were impressed not only by the paintings, but also by the atmosphere of the event.
Visiting the exhibition “Our city in different times” became an unforgettable event for students of the International Medical Institute. They not only got acquainted with the beautiful works of different artists who depicted the beauty of the Kursk region, but also had an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Russian culture
