Thus, Malaysian students visited the favorite recreation place of Kursk residents – the park “Boeva Dacha” and got acquainted with its history and opportunities. The students learned that the park area is usually called “Boevka”. It is “green lungs of Kursk”, “a corner of wild nature among the city”, “green ring”. The park got its name thanks to the nobleman and merchant Alexander Boev. At this place at the end of the XIX century was his estate. The summer residence, nicknamed by the people “Boeva dacha”, was located in a green place near the Tuskar River.
The walking tour to the Boevka Park went along Lenina and Mirny Streets. The students noted the beautiful view of the green area of the city from the stairs leading to the park along Mirnaya Street. In the park the students rode bicycles, visited recreation areas, beaches, cafes, soccer, tennis, basketball and dance grounds, and enjoyed watching the training of the children’s soccer club “Avangard”. Malaysian students noticed that there were many people in the park. The students took photos, joked and laughed a lot.
