Dear friends! We sincerely congratulate you on a wonderful holiday – International Youth Day!
This holiday is annually celebrated on August 12 in all countries of the world (International Youth Day). The holiday was established by the UN General Assembly on December 17, 1999 on the proposal of the World Conference of Ministers Responsible for Youth, which was held in Lisbon (Portugal) on August 8–12, 1998. This day is intended to remind of the role of young people in the development and building of peace and the everyday problems that stand in their way. According to the Federal Law “On Youth Policy in the Russian Federation” dated December 30, 2020 No. 489-FZ, young people include citizens from 14 to 35 years old.
The current young generation is active and talented, smart and creative people, whose breakthrough ideas and thoughts are directed to the future. They see no obstacles in achieving their goals, they move forward towards their dreams. Such young people study at Kursk State Medical University.
Our youth are special students who have chosen as their profession to be responsible for the life and salvation of citizens. It should be noted that representatives of more than 50 countries of the world are included in the multinational friendly university family. Currently, more than 2300 foreign students from different countries of the world study at the university: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Thailand, Nigeria, Maldives, Uzbekistan and etc.
We are proud of the achievements of our students and postgraduate students, we want to have as many victories as possible, so that you always achieve your goals and be happy. University teachers and staff are ready to help you with this.
Youth is a time of search, a special period when the world is open for each of us in a special way, and this time will forever remain in our memory. We wish you all creative achievements, success, joy and good luck! May your knowledge and talent always be in demand, and no difficulties stop you on the path of life!
