As part of cultural and educational events timed to the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, friendly meetings of students of the IMI were held at KSMU.

Maslenitsa is a Russian holiday with a history dating back to the deepest pre-Christian period. In the old days, this week was literally crowded with festive events: ceremonial and extracurricular actions, traditional games and events, competitions. Strength, energy, enthusiasm were enough for everything, because there was an atmosphere of liberated, universal joy and delight.

So Maslenitsa was celebrated for seven days, from Monday to Sunday.

Thursday was the middle of games and fun. Perhaps, and then there were hot maslenitsa fistfights and competitions.

The mini-football tournament took place between the teams “Nigeria” and “Pakhtakor”. The match turned out to be spectacular and ended with a result of 7:7.

Female national teams of students from Brazil, Malaysia and the national team of KSMU took part in volleyball tournament.

The match meetings ended with a victory of the picked team of Brazil.
