On the eve of Victory Day, May 8, international students of the International Medical Institute from Malaysia, Nigeria and Maldives visited the memorial complex “Kursk Bulge”, located at the Moscow Gate of the city of Kursk. The students listened with interest to the story about the history of the memorial, saw the equipment of the war years, paid tribute to the Eternal Flame.
The students with great attention and respect perceived facts from the military life of the great Marshal of Victory Georgy Zhukov. Their special attention was attracted by the legendary tank T-34, about the history of its creation they read about at the lessons of Russian language. The children also learned that there are about 400 monuments of military glory dedicated to the Great Patriotic War on the territory of the region, and Kursk Krai carefully keeps the memory of fallen soldiers and officers.
