In accordance with the work schedule of the International Medical Institute of KSMU, on January 6, 2021 the director of the International Medical Institute of KSMU associate professor M.T. Chahine and deputy director for general affairs of IMI T.F. Dremina met the active core of KSMU African student community in the online regime and held the online conference with all the foreign students of Kursk State Medical University who currently stay in Kursk.
Within the framework of the conference in order to provide safety to foreign citizens, living in hostels of KSMU and private apartments, members of the International Medical Institute conducted briefings for foreign students on fire safety rules, safety in emergencies, abidance by traffic regulations, non-allowability of attending water basins and other potentially dangerous places, compliance with the accommodation rules in apartments, including silence observation during the night, and with migration legislation requirements.
During New Year holidays members of the International Medical Institute of KSMU were on duty checking hostels and apartments where foreign students live.
Holding preventive briefings for foreign students allows to acquaint them with cultural traditions of our region, which is the main part of the program for adapting international citizens to learning environment at Kursk State Medical University and living conditions in Kursk, as well as reduces the risk of violations committed by foreign students and forms the culture of safe way of life.
In the end of the meeting foreign students wished all members of KSMU merry forthcoming Christmas, good health, peace and prosperity!
