Within the framework of the visit to Makhachkala, the rector of KSMU, professor V.A. Lazarenko and Director of the International Medical Institute of KSMU Associate Professor M.T. Chahine met with the leadership of the Dagestan State Medical University.
In order to develop cultural and humanitarian ties in the field of science, education and healthcare, an agreement on cooperation was signed between Kursk State Medical University and Dagestan State Medical University. Acting rector of DSMU Naida Radzhabovna Mollaeva and rector of KSMU Viktor Anatolyevich Lazarenko took part in the signing ceremony.
“Dagestan State Medical University is one of the oldest universities in the North Caucasus. Next year we will celebrate the 90th anniversary of our foundation. Our university has a glorious history and traditions, which we carefully preserve, while simultaneously introducing modern technologies into the educational process,” said the acting rector of Dagestan State Medical University.
The cooperation agreement provides for joint research, scientific seminars, round tables, conferences and other events; joint publication of scientific research results; writing scientific articles and teaching aids; creation of interuniversity commissions, groups, associations of experts; development and implementation of joint scientific strategies and programs.
As a result of the meeting, the parties expressed deep gratitude and confidence in the effective implementation of cooperation between educational organizations.
