On March 7, 2023, on the eve of a beautiful holiday — International Women’s Day, a festive atmosphere reigned at the International Medical Institute of KSMU. A pleasant surprise awaited the women of the university – students from Malaysia, India, Nigeria, Sri Lanka and other countries gave everyone a spring mood and a lot of smiles. Young people took part in the postcard competition organized by the teachers of the institute, and prepared warm and gentle congratulations to the administration, teachers and classmates.
Each participant chose the style and technique of drawing that was familiar to them. Among the works presented at the competition there were text congratulations and drawings with images of peers, but most of all and most willingly students drew flowers. Their works occupied the whole stand, which was installed at the university on the eve of the holiday.
The holiday on March 8, which many years ago was conceived as a political one, is now a perfect occasion to celebrate the arrival of spring, to remind all women of how beautiful they are and to confess one’s love. Happy International Women’s Day!
