Dear colleagues, teachers, employees and students!

I congratulate you on the main state holiday – Sovereignty Day of the Russian Federation!

This holiday is rather young. At first, it was called the Day of Adoption of the Declaration on the State Sovereignty of Russia and got its present name only in 2002.

We, Russians, are proud of our history and culture, achievements in science, economy, art, sports. But the main wealth of our land has always been people!

Our country has passed a thorny path of development, in which any difficulties and challenges of the time have become stepping stones to new victories, peace and prosperity. The strength of our country is in its citizens – intelligent, talented, hardworking, progressively thinking – and in the uniqueness of the moral and spiritual traditions of the Russian people. We are proud of our country and our involvement in the great cause of educating new citizens of Russia, who will have to implement all the tasks to preserve health of the population, develop medical science and increase the well-being of our homeland.

Our Russia has always actively stood on the side of peace and goodness. And particularly now each of us feels like a patriot and citizen of the great state!

I congratulate you and wish that every year bring all of us new reasons for pride with ourselves and with the state in which we work and live. Let the activity be productive, let the hopes be justified, let the goals be attainable, and let the dreams come true.
