On November 16, 2022, Kursk State Medical University hosted the II All-Russian Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Physical Training and Sports: Scientific-Practical and Educational-Methodological Aspects”.Vice-Rector for Research Work and Innovative Development, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor V.A. Lipatov, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Social Development and Public Relations, Candidate of Psychology, Associate Professor Kuznetsova A.A., Specialist of the Department of Physical Training and Sports of Administration for Youth Policy, Physical Education and Sports of Kursk Savina D.R. welcomed the conference participants. Words of welcome came from Education and Science Committee of of the Kursk Region as well.
The scientific and practical nature of the conference was implemented in the work of plenary and breakout sessions, the platform of the youth symposium. All conference events were held using remote technologies. This year the conference has acquired the status of an international one. Reports on issues of evaluating functional systems of athletes, possibilities of combining psychological technologies and physical exercises in working with stress, peculiarities of the organization of the activity of additional education institutions and sports and recreation centers in Russia and Belarus were discussed at the conference. Particular interest in the participants of the meeting was caused by organization of medical support for persons engaged in physical training and sports.
