The educational project, an accelerator of technological startups “Innovstart”, for which KSMU together with SWSU and AAS received a grant, starts on Monday, October 10 in a hybrid format. The goals of the Innovstart acceleration program are development of the technological student startup community in Kursk region, launch of new technological startups and innovative products on the regional market, as well as further communication between student technology teams and interaction with authorities, business community, industrial partners and development institutions at the regional and federal levels within the framework of the created educational and consulting platform.

There is also an opportunity to join similar projects implemented at Kuban State Medical University and Perm State Polytechnic University.

The purpose of the programs is to search for, examine and launch interdisciplinary innovative start-up projects in the field of healthcare. The Accelerator participants will go from an idea to creating a prototype and presenting it to experts and investors.

As part of the acceleration program, it is planned to hold master classes, seminars, workshops, business games from leading business coaches and mentors, lectures and cases from technological entrepreneurs, effective networking with representatives of the investment market of various stages,  development of a startup project under the leadership of mentors, and, in conclusion, participation in the final pitch session before experts and potential investors – all this will help to formalize one’s own idea and launch a competitive and effective startup.

The program includes more than 30 in-person and online events implemented using the Leader-ID information system.

All students and young scientists performing long-term research, which are based on the object of commercialization (product or service), are invited. Participation in this program will be especially useful for those who have already participated in competitions, but have not won them, as well as for those who have submitted their project for the SMART MAN competition, since they are offered an opportunity to improve their projects, gain additional knowledge in the field of innovation!
